I am sorry to inform you that this flag is wrong. Some stars are misplaced. Please take a look at the correct star placements at this link:

The first link above also indicates the correct size of the stars, according to their magnitudes ('grandeza' in Portuguese).

Overwrite with new version in Commons

Since 2011 this file has been optimized and updated several times in commons:File:Flag of Brazil.svg, with proportions corrected according to law and colors updated following official government files. HkSards (talk) 21:27, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Like the previous section said, this file hosted locally on Wikipedia hasn't changed since 2011. Over the years, the one on Wikimedia Commons has been updated multiple times to be more accurate with the image now using colors on governmental websites.
